1. Data Processing Architecture

Propertypass operates on a 100% client-side architecture. When you process bank statements, tenancy agreements, or property packs, all parsing, vector redaction, and splitting happen locally inside your web browser. Your documents are never uploaded to, stored on, or processed by any external cloud server.

2. How Documents Are Processed

• The file is opened directly in your browser's local memory.
• Text detection and redactions execute strictly on your device.
• Once downloaded, the document is cleared from browser memory.
• No names, account numbers, transactions, or document contents ever leave your computer.

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store personal data from your uploaded documents. We only store minimal operational settings:

• Daily Allowance Counter: An anonymous counter stored in local browser memory to track free file exports (limit 3/day). Rate-limiting and Pro status verification are enforced securely on our backend servers to prevent tampering.
• Pro Subscription Status: Verified securely through your authenticated user session (Clerk Authentication) upon Pro tier upgrade. No payment card numbers or banking credentials are ever stored on our servers.

4. Data Minimisation Standards

Propertypass is designed to help estate agents, property managers, and conveyancers enforce data minimisation. By permanently erasing non-essential bank account details, sort codes, and National Insurance numbers before sharing, agencies protect client privacy and fulfill their legal data protection obligations.
