The Problem We Solved
Every week, thousands of estate agents, letting negotiators, and conveyancers sit down to process property documents by hand. They print bank statements and drag a marker pen across account numbers. They scroll through 200-page leasehold management packs, trying to find the right section to forward to a solicitor. They upload tenant payslips to free online PDF tools without reading the privacy policy.
These tasks are tedious, error-prone, and carry real regulatory risk. A single missed account number on a forwarded bank statement can trigger a data protection complaint. A poorly split conveyancing pack can delay an exchange by days. And uploading sensitive financial records to an unknown cloud server is a liability that most agencies don't think about: until something goes wrong.
We built Propertypass because we believed property professionals deserved better tooling. Not another generic PDF editor, but purpose-built utilities that understand the specific documents agents work with every day (tenancy agreements, bank statements, title registers, LPE1 packs, EPC certificates) and process them instantly, securely, and without leaving the browser.
Privacy by Design
The architecture decision at the heart of Propertypass is simple: your documents never leave your computer. There is no upload step. There is no server queue. There is no cloud storage.
When you drag a PDF into Propertypass, the file is read directly into your browser's memory. Our engine, compiled to WebAssembly for near-native speed, performs all redaction, splitting, extraction, and rendering locally on your device. The processed file is assembled in-browser and downloaded straight to your machine.
This isn't a marketing line. It's a technical guarantee. Because no data transits a network, there is nothing to intercept, nothing to breach, and nothing to subpoena. For agencies handling hundreds of tenant financial records each month, this level of data isolation is not a nice-to-have: it's a professional obligation.
